Amanda is usually a happy girl after she wakes up from a good nap. She only sleeps on her tummy.

Amanda loves to play on the ground. She is always reaching for whatever she can see. She can't move forward yet, but ends up scooting around on her belly by pushing and squirming.

 

You might think she doesn't like what she's eating, but this is actually one of her new smiley faces! Trust me, she's happy! It's usually accompanied by a funny laughing-sputtering noise.

Road Trip

Last weekend, we all took a short road trip to Elk (Northern CA coast) and stayed at a bed & breakfast. Amanda was curious about the new surrounding but also had a hard time sleeping at the new place. We hung out in our room, tasted yummy grape juice at a winery, and Amanda attempted to drive.
