Sweet Potato

Amanda started to eat solid food. Here she is, eating one of her favorite foods - sweet potato. OK... she has not tried that many food yet but sweet potato is definitely a winner. There is also some dance music in the background to help her digest.

Six Months Old

Time flies... Amanda is 6 months old this week. She is sitting up well these days and enjoys gnawing at everything, her favorite being her fingers. At her six month check-up, she is 27 inches long and weighs 17 lbs 3oz.

Baptism

Last Sunday, Amanda was baptized. Here is what was said at her baptism: "You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, God has made a claim on your life: You are no longer defined by the world and all its distortions, but are marked as God's forever.".

High Chair

I am testing my new high chair out.

Sitting Up

I am learning how to sit up by myself. So far, I am doing pretty good.

Rice Cereal

When Vicki was visiting me, she fed me some rice cereal.

I am very good at opening my mouth but have not gotten the hang of swallowing. But I am getting better at it every day. Oh, I really enjoy biting on the spoon. What?!? You can't eat the spoon...that is very puzzling.
